She's probably known that Ben was loopy in a schizophrenic-hearing voices kind of way for a very long time and thought that Locke should have some protection.

Locke made the mistake of trusting that he was safe with Ben.  Just like he did with Cooper.

That's a point, she was officially credited in this one, and in the episode overview it said we would see some fimiliar faces that do not belong, so were they referring to Richard and Ben right?

There was a theory a while back that they were in the past/future.. that guy who doesn't age, maybe somehow the original island inhabitants don't die/age past a certain point? and with Walt and Michael coming back, with an explination of why walt is older, maybe time moves slower on the island or something who knows, just a bunch of stuff going through my head at the moment. Still can't believe that ending.

Danielle was credited in this episode?  I'm not trying to doubt you guys or anything, but where do you find the credits for the episode?  I always just use Lostpedia, which makes no mention of Danielle, but it's not the most trustworthy of sources.

Hi Brennan.  Nice to see you back out of lurk mode.  ABC actually posts the guest stars 2 weeks in advance.  For this epi the guest stars were M.C. Gainey as Mr. Friendly/Tom, Tania Raymonde as Alex, Andrew Divoff as Mikhail, Nestor Carbonell as Richard Alpert, Marsha Thomason as Naomi, Sterling Beaumon as young Ben, Jon Gries as Roger Linus, Carrie Preston as Emily, Doug Hutchison as Horace, Samantha Mathis as Olivia and Madeline Carroll as Annie.   Maybe Dannielle was in  a previous list, but not on the official one.  There was a guest star list out there which was debunked and maybe they put Dannielle there.
