Not sure if anyone else noticed it, but in 1x17, in the Jin flashback while he is delivering the message (the first time, when he gets the dog). The secretary's daughter is on the couch with the dog watching TV. A few seconds later you can see the girl and TV from the back angle, and Hurley is on the TV with Korean subtitles! I am assuming perhaps from winning the lottery, or maybe the Trisha Tanaka incident?

OMG THIS IS TRUE I CAN VERIFY FOR HIM!!! This can change the whole outline of lost! If Hurley was in Korean tv maybe he really lives in Korea? Just, like, the english part of it? Maybe they all live in Korea!!!!! OMG! Remember when Hurley sees Jin speaking English in that one part in Season 2! Myabe thats why!!!!!!!!!

Well, I guess I should have used that useful search feature. I did just glance over the season 1 discussion, I didn't see anything specific, it isn't in the episode format as seasons 2 & 3. My bad, thank you for the well deserved burn mr.friendly.

The reason why hurley is in the korean tv is because he won a large amount of cash and its possible to show that hurley won in korean tv. Remember that hurley became a multi-millioner.
