did no one watch the previews for any of theese.... it clearly stated when they were going to show a oceanic 6 and not... I do believe they said last episode, "Find out about the last of the oceanic 6....."

Yes I watched the previews (in fact I posted them all)

I have just said the exact same thing

They said we would know all 6 by this episode

Now the "last of the oceanic six" could be any number of people shown in that episode. Thats why it could easily be Mike. we have seen him in that episode and next weeks is about him so could confirm it is him

"The last" does not mean "one" it could mean the "last two"

We know Sun. If you dont count Aaron like me then it has to be Jin or Mike who were both in this episode

I think next episode we might find out in mikes flashbacks/flashforwards that he is one of the 6

AHH - the great "Aaron as one of the six" debate still rages.  Never has a topic caused such divided opinions on the board, at least not without flaming wars!  (all should be proud Grin)  I still believe Aaron will prove to be one of the six.

 stupid

I wanted him not to be one of the six and the argument that he was not on the plane was a good one, but come on people (not you tipper) ABC told us we already knew all of the six.  Unless miraculously it is Michael -- 6 people are out in the real world -- the Oceanic 6.  If Aaron was not one of them 7 bodies would have left the island and they would be considered the Oceanic 7.  It is very simple math.

personally i believe aaron to be one of the 6 the only person i think that could be not one of the 6 is sayid because he is working for Ben... but ABC did say in the preview for Sayid's episode we would find out about another one of the oceanic 6 so i THINK he is one but aaron is.... and im willing to bet on it....

From ask ausiello: http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello

Ausiello on Lost
Question: Please settle a heated office dispute regarding Lost: Aaron is or is not one of the Oceanic Six?— Dane
Ausiello: Aaron is *** *** of the Oceanic Six.

Question: Who the heck are the Oceanic Six? If Aaron's not one of them, and Jin's grave marker is for his "supposed" death when the plane crashed, who else made it off the island with Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid and Sun?— Jen
Ausiello: Who said Aaron is not one of the Oceanic Six? Certainly not me. Take another look at my asterisk quiz from Feb. 27 and consider all of the possible combinations. In the meantime, don't expect a definitive answer about the Six from Team Darlton. Carlton Cuse tells me they're "not going public with any further clarifications right now." And what of the ABC promo that promised viewers they'd know the identity of the Six by the end of last week's episode? "We don't determine how ABC promotes the show," says Cuse. "But Damon and I will say you have now seen all of the Oceanic Six in this season's episodes."

Well carry on debating this point.

I vote for "Aaron is NOT ONE of the Oceanic Six."

"But Damon and I will say you have now seen all of the Oceanic Six in this season's episodes." [/i]

This suggests we have seen them all. So it could easily be Mike Cheesy Or of course for a nice twist it could be Ben claiming he is a survivor dun dun DUN! Which survivor has little family? Maybe Ben is now called John Locke Tongue or Boone (Wasn't shannon his only family?)

Yeah, you would think that.... Hell I voted for no before but there are 6 people that left and well... unless it is Michael or Ben (and I doubt it is either) it makes sense he is.  There got to be like 100 possibilities to fill in those blanks.

Edit on the 22 -- I think the last promo has answered this on the affirmative.

There are so many ways that this could be quantified, but I will have to throw my fates in with the lot that say Aaron counts.  And as for the 'state of Kate' I would have to agree that someone would have noticed that she was pregnant or not, but the whole space-time relation to the real world may mean that his aging in correlation to the 'rest of the world' may end up being spot on when they finally DO get rescued.

From the transcript of "The Economist":
Quote
MAN 1: not bad, not bad. (sighs) So, what do you do for a living, my friend?

SAYID: I do nothing.

MAN 1: Nothing? That doesn’t pay for a vacation here

SAYID: I was the recipient of a large settlement

MAN 1: Corporate merger?

SAYID: Actually, a plane crash. Oceanic Airlines flight 8-1-5. I’m Sayid Jarrah, one of the Oceanic Six.

I think it's pretty safe to say Sayid is one of the Six.

<edit: sorry... that was smartass embarassed... i'm just tired>
