On another note: Locke's dad. Does indeed seem to be the "real Sawyer." Somehow I think we're going to end up meeting him on the island. Maybe he's the one actually behind the whole thing -- yhou may remember when Locke first met him and said his mom told him he was immaculately conceived, his dad said "well, I guess that makes me God." Hmm. He does enjoy screwing with people's minds.
...I'm all for not excluding any possibilities with this show, but your theories seem far-fetched, even for "Lost". It's just, I don't know,
too convenient, you know? It's just a
really big stretch. First, it doesn't seem like Locke's dad was that awful a person that he'd
kill someone. He's a con-man, not a killer. Second, the "man behind the curtain" has gotta be someone outside the backgrounds of the losties. What makes the show so different is that it doesn't focus on just one protagonist, or make any one more important than anyone else. So why make Locke suddenly so important like that?
