June 13, 2006
One of the mysteries of the "Hole" pictures is finally revealed when a message from Persephone, "Timeless Together", leads gamers to combine the image names and discover the anagram "light sequence again". Another link to a hidden page is added to the Electromagnetic Research Initiative page, which reveals a correspondence between Thomas Mittelwerk, and Hoo-Gon Choi of an unknown government ministry.

June 14, 2006
A url is found in a newly added thread on the Retriever's of Truth board, which leads gamers to DJ Dan's latest podcast. The podcast, which was originally announced to be released on June 13, kept gamers guessing as to why it was released a day late. Among the topics discussed is a caller question about "Nanobots".

June 16, 2006
An image showing various objects is posted on persephone.thehansofoundation.org, which provides the clues to finding the password "recluse".

A new login box is found on the Life Extension Project page by clicking on the word "mortality". Gamers then are able to unlock the new hidden page by entering the "recluse" password found at the Persephone url. At the end of the hack, gamers are locked out of thf.org, however, access is still possible through alternate urls, and direct links.

A new link is added to the DJ Dan podcast page, and the "Fallout" footer is changed. The word "BigD" is added to the upper left, and three green dots appear in the upper right when you float your mouse over the pic. By clicking on the new footer, gamers are redirects to sublymonal.com. DJ Dan's latest podcast can then be heard by entering the password "BigD" into the login box.

A video by a woman identifying herself as "Rachel Blake" is found on Monster.com. Since there was no direct link between the video and the ARG, it was debatable as to whether or not she was an in game character.

June 18, 2006
Act Two of the game begins.

Suspicions about the Rachel Blake video are increased when it is removed from Monster.com.

June 19, 2006
A new discussion thread is added to the Retrievers of Truth forum, which leads gamers to a short video by DJ Dan mixed in with a series of promotional videos on the "Broadband Stories" page of the Verizon site.

A video is posted by "thejeepchanel", which is the screen name of the jeep account that previously posted the other Jeep videos, apologizing for the DJ Dan sellout video.

A new "Orientation" style clip is found via a clue that periodically flashes on the "lock out" screen on the Hanso Site. among the many images that flashes during the clip is a hand holding a card with the words "Evident Agenda" which is later found to be the password to rachelblake.com.

The Rachel Blake character is confirmed when a ghostly image is posted on persephone.thf.org along with a new set of numbers found in a backwards audio message, and a url embedded in the source code that leads gamers to www.rachelblake.com. By translating the numbers found in the backwards audio, the password, "evident agenda", is found which is then used to gain access to Rachel's personal blog.

The thf.org site goes into complete lock down preventing gamers from accessing it, even blocking direct links and backdoor hacks.

June 20, 2006
Rachel Blake's second video is found on the on the Verizon site "Broadband Stories".

Rachel Blake adds her "Copenhagen 03" post to her blog. Among the things included in the post are new pictures of Hugh McIntyre "Ally-Catting" around, a correspondence between the Hanso Foundation, and the GWC, and speculation of a possible password hidden in one of the pictures.

June 22,2006
A link leading gamers to, http://au.messages.yahoo.com/lost/, is posted on Rachel Blake's blog which has a hidden audio recording of a discussion between Thomas Mittelwerk, and a man named Minsu speaking in Korean. In this conversation, the two men discussed a ship that was being built by Paik-Heavy Industries.

An instant message log between OpenersHep (which is an anagram for Persephone) and wtkFleet35, is found in "trash" folder in the directory on letyourcompassguideyou.com.

Rachel's Copenhagen 02 video is removed from the Broadband Stories website.

June 23, 2006

June 26, 2006
Rachel Blake posts Copenhagen 06 on her blog. A link with-in the post leads gamers to letyourcompassguideyou.com where a link in the trash file further leads gamers to a Jeep site. Rachel's latest video is then found under the heading "Removable Flashlight".

The new thread explains that there will be "Hint Hunt" in which there will be a release of several smaller clues over the next few days that, when put together, will lead to the revelation of a bigger clue. The first clue was the first word of the first song in Cabaret, which is "Willkommen" or "Welcome".

June 27, 2006
Rachel Blake posts Copenhagen 07 on her blog. With-in this new post is a link to an article about the VIK Institute posted on a GidgetGirl's blog.

Gary Troup's interview video 7 of 9 is found on myspace.com.

People who previously AIMed ROT members receive the following instant message from DSLerator: "Here’s your next hint: 25 15 21 18". By doing an alpha-numeric exchange, gamers find the second word in the ROT Hint Hunt: 25 15 21 18 = "Your".

June 28, 2006
After announcing her move to Iceland to follow a lead, Rachel posted her first "Iceland" post. Through a link in the post, gamers were led to garytroupbooks.com where she hid her first Iceland video.

People start receiving instant messages from DSLerator, directing them to the MySpace page of a "Mandrake Wig", where clues for two more of the Hint Hunt words ("Your" and "Video") are found in a blog entry.

Hours after its initial post, the Rachel Blake Iceland video is removed from garytroupbooks.com.

June 29, 2006
Iceland 02 is posted on Rachel Blake's blog. The entry offers a quick recap to what has happened to her up until this point, as well as an explanation as to why her video was removed from the Gary Troup site.

A new thread is posted on the Retrievers of Truth forum by fiberoptician which details the following:
1. The password to the site will be changed, and gamers will have to register again to get the new password.

2. Gamers will receive two more clues for the word hunt in the registration e-mail (making a total of six hidden words).

3. Fiberoptician is now administering a secondary word hunt.

4. The registration e-mail will also contain a "PS" at the end of the message with the first clue for Fiberoptician’s word hunt. The word, when added to the richerdeeperbroader.com url, will reveal a secret "Goodie".

5. Fiberoptician’s second clue will come on Friday June 30th via Mandrake Wig’s myspace site.

6. Fiberoptician’s third clue will be given by him somehow on Saturday July 1st.

As promised, the password to the ROT site is changed. Upon re-registering, gamers receive an e-mail, which contain clues that lead to the discovery of the new password ("polar bear"), two more words for the "Hint Hunt" ("Needs" and "Your"), and the first word in fiberoptician's word hunt ("Blood").

The first of three pieces to a document is found at http://richerdeeperbroader.com/blood/

Hours after the first piece of the document was found, gamers discovered the remaining two pieces , with out the assistance of the official clues, at:
http://richerdeeperbroader.com/money/
http://richerdeeperbroader.com/sorrow/

June 30, 2006
A month of speculation by gamers is confirmed when Rachel admits in her Iceland 3 post on her blog, that she is in fact Persephone.

A link redirecting gamers to the Retrievers of Truth site is added to DJ Dan's Podcast page. Gamers then find a new thread on the ROT forum, which provides a link to where DJ Dan's latest podcast can be downloaded.

As promised, the second clue for fiberoptician's word find is found through Mandrake Wig's myspace site. Two new pictures are added to his Flickr page. One of which has the description, "Green like MONEY".

Also included on the Mandrake Wig update is a second picture with the tag "Get a clue: Direct observation or participation?", which after an internet search is discovered to be the definition of the word "EXPERIENCE".

July 1, 2006
A new thread is added to the Retrievers of Truth forum, which provides clues to both the Hint Hunt, "CHECK", and fiberoptician's Word Hunt, "SORROW.

A hidden page requiring a login is found at richerdeeperbroader.com/welcome/your/next/video/needs/your/
experiences/check/tomorrow/
by a gamer who guessed the final word, "Tomorrow", in the Retrievers of Truth's Hint Hunt.

July 2, 2006
Several gamers receive the clue to the final Hint Hunt word "Tomorrow" which proved irrelevant since the word was guessed by a gamer the previous day. Although the final word was guessed the day before, this clue officially brought the full message to: "Welcome, your next video needs your experience. Check tomorrow."

July 3, 2006
Rachel Blake posts her Italy 01 entry on her blog, which includes a link and login information to richerdeeperbroader.com/welcome/your/next/video/needs/your/
experiences/check/tomorrow/
. Upon logging in gamers find Rachel's latest video in which she speculates about the Foundation's connection with the GWC, and Enzo Valenzetti.

Shortly after Rachel Blake posted her latest video on July 3rd, in which she mentions Enzo Valenzetti, The Speaker adds a post to his blog providing gamers with a link to www.valenzettiequation.com.

July 4, 2006
Rachel Blake posts her Italy 02 post which provides a login, "rblake", a password "organharvest", and a link that redirects gamers to Lost Ninja's site. By clicking on "The Truth" and entering the provided login information, gamers found a audio recording of a conversation between Hanso Executives Thomas Mittelwerk, Peter Thompson, and an unknown woman whom many gamers speculate is the GWC woman seen with Hugh McIntyre in an earlier post.

July 5, 2006
A new banner is added to the DJ Dan podcast page, which activates the "Pyramid" link in the footer that allows gamers to listen to his latest podcast. Included was a caller detailing the disappearance of his grandmother (Whom many gamers believe could be Karen Degroot), after joining what he called the "Karma Imperative".

A new post is added to Rachel Blake's blog which provides various links to evidence questioning medical procedures undergone by Thomas Mittelwerk. Among them are Screen shots from a previous hack, an audio recording of Rachel trying to get information from an unnamed nurse, and a scan of a letter from a Dr. Eliza Vasquez to Alvar Hanso.

July 6, 2006
Italy 04 post was added to Rachel Blake's blog. In this entry, she recounts how she followed Mittelwerk only to find out that she lost him, only to stumble upon a ship loading Hanso Foundation containers on board, destination unknown.

July 10, 2006
A new in game character is possibly introduced when Rachel Blake explains in her Italy 05 post, that a hacker was trying to gain access to Rachel's files, and possibly subvert her attempts to topple the Hanso Foundation.

A new link is added to the DJ Dan podcast page, which leads gamers to letyoucompassguideyou.com where DJ Dan's latest podcast is found in the "Owells" folder. In this podcast, DJ Dan tries to drum up support for Rachel Blake, and the call-in game "Where's Hanso".

July 12, 2006
A new post is added to Rachel Blake’s blog. In this short entry, gamers were provided with a link to the LOST Podcast page on ABC.com where they are able to listen to a recording of a phone conversation between Rachel and GidgetGirl by using the login "RBlake" (case sensitive), and the password "FalseDegree". During the phone conversation, Rachel is directed by GidgetGirl to meet her in Paris where she will give Rachel something.

A new Hanso Foundation commercial featuring Thomas Mittelwerk airs during a re-broadcast of 23rd Psalm, and again later that night during Jimmy Kimmel Live.

July 13, 2006
Friends on Mandrake Wig's Myspace page receive a message to look out for a Retrievers of Truth update on July14th.

MelODrama makes several post in the comments section of Rachel Blake's blogs trying to get confirmation about posting her next video, ending one of the comments with the words, "listen, look, and watch".

July 14, 2006
As promised, a new thread is posted on the Retrievers of Truth forum which leads gamers to a video clip on Broadband Stories featuring Thomas Mittelwerk.

In the same thread, it is hinted that BroadBandBeatnik may have defected and accepted a job with the Hanso Foundation.

An un-titled post is added to Rachel Blake’s blog consisting of only of a picture link leading to sublymonal.com, and the login information "rblake", and "milkcartonman". By using the clue left my melOdrama in the comments section the day before, gamers found Rachel's latest video hidden with-in the Talib Kweli page on the site.

July 17, 2006
BroadBandBeatnik's defection appears to be confirmed when the password at the Retrievers of Truth website is changed to, 1CF11D16-C378-4D5A-B038-00DF9ED171FF.

July 18, 2006
Another untitled post is added to the Rachel Blake blog. By clicking on the picture in the post, gamers were then redirected to letyourcompassguideyou.com where they use the password "honourbar" to access an admin screen, which then in turn leads to Jeep.com where Rachel's latest video entry is under the heading "Crunch Zones".

July 19, 2006
Who videos featuring Thomas Mittelwerk are added to DJ Dan's "Eyes on the Man" page. In the first video, Mittelwerk talks about Joop, and the Life Extension Program, and then the Foundation's Mathematical Forecasting Initiative in the second.

The Retrievers of Truth password is changed, for the second time in three days, to "E72CDBF5-94FA-465C-BE5D-0138AE32E38BANDNOITDONTMEANNOTHIN".

<a href="www.stophanso.rachelblake.com">www.stophanso.rachelblake.com[/url] was updated, and now directly links to thf.org lockout screen where gamers find a link to the first Mittelwerk commercial which was first aired on July 12th. At this time, however, direct links to Rachel’s blog (http://stophanso.rachelblake.com/index2.html) still allow access, but this may be an indicator that Act Three will be starting in the coming days.

July 20, 2006
A third untitled entry is added to Rachel Blake's blog which provides a link to monster.com where gamers were able to find her latest video on the Career Advice page under the heading "Can She Trust Him?".

July 21, 2006
The Retrievers of Truth password is changed again. Similar to the previous two, the new password, "Steinbeck", is found embedded in the code of the ROT cover site. It was also reported that members of ROT were contacting people on AIM, and giving them the  clue "Pedro Armendariz". They indicated that gamers needed to; "focus on his work, not his life". It didn't take long for gamers to figure out that he was in a movie adaptation of "The Pearl" written by John Steinbeck, titled "La Perla".

A new thread is added to the Retrivers of Truth forum where gamers find the password "hoo-gonchoi" which is later used to access Rachel Blake's latest video.

Another untitled post is added to Rachel Blake's blog providing several images, and a link leading to the Retrievers of Truth site which eventually leads gamers to Rachel's latest video hidden at richerdeeperbroader.com.

July 22, 2006
Act Three begins when Rachel Blake, interrupts a LOST Q&A panel at ComicCon featuring Jorge Garcia, Daniel Dae Kim, Damon Lindelof, and Carlton Cuse. During her tyrade, Rachel told everyone to go Hansoexposed.com.

After weeks of speculation, hansoexposed.com finally goes live, announcing that this next stage of the ARG will involve a "Glyph Hunt". Each glyph will provide a code, which, when entered at hansoexposed.com will unlock a clip from Rachel's Sri Lanka video. Once all the codes are acquired, and the video clips unlocked, gamers will then be able to piece the clips together to view the complete video.

The first two glyphs are found on hansoexposed.com providing the codes "7hkbh", and "RRGYXS".

The third "Glyph Hunt" code is found when Attendees of the LOST Q&A at Comic-con report that Damon Lindeloff is seen wearing a wrist band with the code "4ho" while sighning autographs.

The Fourth "Glyph Hunt" code, "ohge", is found when when blatantly up-close pictures of two of the wrist bands worn by the panelists at Comic-Con show up on the Speaker's blog.

July 24, 2006
Glyph number five, with the code "748L", is posted in an untitled entry on Rachel Blake's blog.

Glyph 6 with the code "FVH7N" is found through a picture link on the Speaker's blog. By clicking on the white Speaker picture, a window popped up with the sixth glyph.

Glyphs 7-9, with the codes 88CH, 1EY8AZCZNA2, and VDADOS7YRE0; are found on LOST Ninja's blog (AU version of the Speaker)

July 25, 2006
According to the stats page on hansoexposed.com, the 10th frag code was found on July 25th by someone with the handle “Catseye”. For reasons unknown, no one else has been able to find this code leading the theory monger in me to believe that it was possibly acquired through unofficial means, and as such Catseye does not want to say how he/she found it.

Glyph 11 along with the code "3GTVI0M11", is found in an article by EW's resident Lost Geek Jeff Jensen.

Frag code twelve, "IG3X", is found in a phone segment on a UK Channel 4 "Maternity Leave" podcast.

July 26, 2006
An interview between Doc Jensen, and Rachel Blake taken right after she was removed from the LOST panel at Comic-Con is posted on EW.com.

A new glyph, with the code "XIGZ2Y10S2", is found was posted on rachelblake.com (The cover page, not to be mistaken for the stophanso,rachelblake.com page).

The second glyph of the day was found at DJ Dan’s site on the links page. On the links page, gamers found a broken image link. By viewing the source code, gamers were able to find the image url, along with the code “gmx18bcj”.

The mysterious 10th frag code, "4kvklaydm0", was finally found by QuinceTheCarpenter from the Fuselage. The actual glyph has yet to be found, but Quince was able to "acquire" the code through alternate means. For the sake of the game, Gamers are still looking for the glyph, but at least now all the released frag codes have been found.

A few hours after originally being posted, the broken link on the DJ Dan links page was fixed and the 14th glyph was found.

July 27, 2006
Glyph 15 along with the code "m6xy398" is found in a post on Lostninja's blog. According to the entry, the glyph was actually found on a poster taped to a pole in northern Sydney.

The 16th glyph with the code "3ZGT" is found on the Fuselage Diaries.

A new thread was added to the the Retrievers of Truth forum, in which supposed defector BroadBandBeatnik returned to the forum claiming that he had not joined the Hanso Foundation, but had been at Comic-Con for the last week. Among other things discoved in this thread are a suspicious picture which supposedly shows Beatnik at Comic-Con, and a mention of the Beatbox Mixer page on the Verizon site.

July 28, 2006
Glyph 17 with the code "ZY6C" was found when the Speaker, in his weekly “Reader Mail” entry, posted the clue, "Eighth moon of the Monkey thrice before. A voice from the Middle knows much more.", which lead gamers to his Week Three Recap where the glyph was found through a link connected to the "Hole 2" image on the recap.

July 29, 2006
Codes 18 (RXMHJH9Y), and 19 (7TI) are leaked onto the internet. Supposedly, they were going to be released in the latest issues of the U.S. and U.K. printings of LOST The Magazine.

July 31, 2006
Other Girl added a post to her U.K. LOST blog which provided gamers with a link to Channel 4's music page where Glyph 20 along with the code "RGMR", was found among a list of featured musicians.

Frag code 21 (VIX7ZXT97) was found embeded with-in the LOST Panel audio from Comic-Con that was posted as part of the Official Lost Podcast. At the 27 minute and 52 seconds point in the podcast, Rachel cuts into the broadcast to read the frag code before the transmission is returned to the Comic-Con audio.

The glyph for frag 10 is finally found on the LOST page of AXN-Asia.com.

August 2, 2006
After an almost three week absence, a new post is added to DJ Dan's podcast page informing gamers that there will be a live podcast on August 11th.

Glyph 22 with the code "89RMCOCDC6D" appears as a watermark on the "About" page of Garytroup.net.

Lost Ninja posts an e-mail on his blog that he received from someone claiming to have seen a glyph in the window of a comic book store in Sydney. Australian based Gamers then traveled to Pitt Street where the glyph was sited, and found the code for frag 23, "VOU8VPNPS5X".

August 3, 2006
An entry is posted on Other Girl's blog telling gamers that if they sent a text message to the number 83188, the would recieve the url where the a Glyph would be found. Upon sending the text message, gamers were led to http://mobile.channel4.com/mobile-portal/entertainment/ august_2006/hansoexposedcom.xml where they found Glyph 24 along with the code "750NZF8X".

A t-shirt with glyph 27 and the code "90VDHOHU" is added to the Merchandise page on djdan.am.

An article about Speaker's blog appears on page 48 in the current issue of People Magazine. Gamers noticed that there was a Sublymonal ad on the opposite page with the word "Nanite" on the can. They then entered the word into Hansoexposed.com, and found that it was in fact a frag code. This is the first instance that a word was used as a code which means that now, anything could be a frag code.

When gamers enter the word "nanite" at sublymonal.com, an audio message plays which leads to the discovery of the nanite glyph on Flickr.com.

A correspondence between Dr. Hacket and a G. Downs is found by piecing together document fragments from a series of pictures on the Flickr album of "lehcarekalb" (which is blake rachel backwards).

August 10, 2006
Glyph 32 with the code "R3PUX4" is found on a poster at the Jeffreys Street Wharf in Sydney, and posted on Lost Ninja's blog.

Glyph 33 with the code "GLLV8B" is found through a glyph hunt administered by the guys at thelostexperienceclues.blogspot.com. This was the first time in the ARG that a glyph hunt was administered by out of game characters. However, because of a previous stunt that the guys pulled with the Save Joop site, many people were skeptical as to the validity to their claims of having a glyph. As a result, people on LOST sites all over the net were claiming "SHENANNIGANS!" until the hunt was finally cracked, and it was shown that they did in fact have a valid glyph. Yet another example that glyphs could now come from anywhere on or off the net.

Someone at ABC.com goofs and posts a live link to the rehersal feed for DJ Dan's Live Podcast. The main thing that is revealed by this mistake is that Javi, who is pretty pissed over this screw up, and can be heard swearing during the recording, is most deffinitly DJ Dan.

Apollocandy.com is updated to include a page with dates and locations around the U.S. mainland in which Apollo bars will be given away. Of course, Hawaii is not on the list Grrrr!

DJ Dan broadcasts a live podcast in which gamers are able to call in with their questions. Among some of the things revealed in the podcast were:

Dan gives leads for two glyphs:

One to appear Monday August 14 in New York City ("la manzana grande") in a "prominant touristy location that rhymes with 'fresh air'" (likely Times Square)

One faxed to him which was left on his studio door and found on August 12 at Radio Harvest

Dan claims that both Lost and Bad Twin are non-fiction, portraying actual events and actions of the Hanso Foundation and related characters.

Dan believes that Enzo Valenzetti could still be alive (his favorite theory is that he was "caught under the wheels of his combine at his family farm in the Swiss Alps")

Dan mentions that the Vik Institute has "verified a figure", but that he doesn't know what it is yet, presumably related to the Valenzetti Equation.

Dan denies being Peter Thompson, Speaker, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, or working for The Hanso Foundation. He makes a point of repetitively mocking "this guy" Javier.

Dan referred to the Karma Imperative as the band Keith Strutter was in before founding Geronimo Jackson.

This name (first mentioned in 7/10 podcast) is a malapropism of the DHARMA Initiative.

Dan doesn't believe in nanotechnology, and specifically tells a caller that you will not see it on TV come September.

Speaker calls in, Dan jokes that he'd better not be the guy who runs the Javi Minions fan site; he later calls him Andy (which also happens to be the name of the guy who runs Javi Minions)

His announcer's name is Johnny, and one of his roadies is named Louis.

DJ Dan was at Comic-Con

Dan seems fairly obsessed by donuts, and makes repetitive mention of them

A mysterious caller named Malek (the "fixer" from Rachel's videos) called in with a message for Rachel Blake and said the following numbers:
240 249 68 61 37 118 75 233 231 150 36 184 157 51 144 180 253 50 173 30 222 192 13 82 1
Each of these numbers is a page from the book Bad Twin. Take the first letter of the first word from each page and you get: "I know where he is, I can set it up!"
