The Black Rock
"either a brig or a full-rigged ship. Judging from the spars remaining on the front two masts and the mast on the ground, I would say a ship. She was square rigged (across the beam of the ship)."
    * "It is an 18th-early 19th century cargo ship. Its cargo was slaves and mining equipment"
    * " If you look closely, you can see that underneath the words "The Black Rock" on the ship is the word "Portsmouth." Portsmouth, U.K. was the location where the first ship set sail for Australia carrying convicts in the 1800s. I think it's far more likely that it's a convict ship instead of a slave ship."
    * Supposedly holds a radio tower that originally transmitted "the numbers"
    * Rousseau blames the black rock/surrounding area for making her science team "sick"
    * Ship was carrying dynamite (which was invented in 1867)

There is also a goof, when Michael is talking at the table with the solicitors the ship jumps from the table to the window, then back to the table again.

Agreed, without the name its just a square rigger, but put there for a reason.

the word trade centre has been put there definitely as a clue/hint by the producers.
It could never have been a recording mistake because Lost production started in 2004. So they purposefully wanted to show the WTC....

Could be a clue for the discussion of when is LOST set ...

We know Walt was Born Aug 24th cus Michael said in S1Epi6 House of the Rising Sun and Walt didn't know his birthday and we also know Walt told Sawyer that he was 10 years old in S1Epi11, if we go back 10 years from 2004 that makes Walt born in 1994 if we go back to the custody case and S2Epi2 Adrift when Michael is flashbacking to the last time he saw Walt Susan mentions Walt is 3 so thats 7 years ago take 7 from 2004 and you get 1997... so that is in the right timeline for the Twin Towers to be there...

well... if that is set 7 years before the crash then that means the crash could be any time before 2008  Huh
not too conclusive... but still a good point (to go with the others!) from hidden behind... im gonna give you some
karma but its not because of the finds... its because youve got the mighty "todd rivers aka lucian sanchez" as your
display pic! Very nice!  Grin
