Five is right out.

Totally not meant to condescend, but to me, a "10" episode was "Numbers," or any of the last 3 eps of season 2.

I did like this episode a lot, but I gave it a 7. I was a little disappointed in the lack of answers offered in the premiere, so I was hoping maybe they would feed us a few answers in this ep, which didn't really happen, either. There are a LOT of big loose ends out there. It wouldn't hurt for them to give us one or two solid answers to one or two of the big questions in one of the first two episodes. Instead I feel like I'm being teased with hints of what "could be" rather than a flat-out "here's how it went down."

Don't get me wrong, I love the suspense, but there are so many characters, each with so many threads out there, that tying one up would be satisfying at this point. IMHO. =)

7. the back story was kinda boring, and little was revealed (other than vague hints to some questions). the ending also lacked punch due to the fact that Ben could still be lying.

I gave it a 9. I'm with E gratis? on this one . . . while I like the characters okay, Jin/Sun episodes are usually my least favorite. This was certainly an exception! I gained some respect for Jin's character when he couldn't go through with killing Sun's "friend". Well, that and the "I understand more english than you think"!

Lady G I agree - with the "9" and with Jin's hidden English skills...now I've got to find my post predicting this last year.  Wink

Anyway, it was a good, strong episode, and my week off from spoilers was beneficial.  Unlike my viewing of week one, I enjoyed not knowing the entire episode storyline in advance this time.

It's a 9 from me, it covered other losties, answered questions, and was a lot more like the Lost that we are used to than the season premiere, it lost the final point due to not covering current happenings to the other Losties on the beach.

I don't know - I kind of like the slower pace. I'd rather a get a big chunk of story for a few characters at a time rather than the other way around. Also, and I just thought of this, I wonder if this six episode "mini-season" is just going to focus on the Losties we've seen in these first two eps. Is it possible we won't be seeing Locke, Charlie, Hurley, Eko, etc., until January? I hope not.

I'm not so sure Jin knew English before. I thought it was more a case of having been trapped on an island for over two months with nothing but English speaking people. He probably can understand a lot more than he can speak. Add that to the fact that he'd obviously be familiar with his wife's body language and voila: Jin's figured out the plan.

I gave it a 10 because of the number of differents events that happened there.
We were shown that they have working camps,
we were told the real name of Ben
we saw alex
we saw another "others"

The scene where Ben looks at the control rooms makes him more devilish than he already is.
And within this point of view , we can think that the Pearl station was not so abandoned.

I'm really wondering if Rousseau is not a part of the others.
In 16 years , how could she have not seen them ?

In addition to that , if Michael & walt have really got back home as Ben said, does it imply that we are never gonna be some Walt's flashbacks ?

The last think bothering me is the black woman, Mr , Klugh.
She seemed to be as important as Ben, in the episodes 221 , 223 & 224...
This is really bothering because we're seeing a bunch of new faces , Juliet , Colleen , and co. But we don't see this Mrs Klugh.

Concerning Walt I'm thinking another thing.
When Mrs Klugh says "do you want to go back to the room again ?" in ep.221
Could it be the same room where Jack is kept now ?
But with the tone she used , it seemed to be a "torture room"...

The writers keep creating mystery while answering a too little amount of questions.

You suck. Even someone who picked out every little bad thing about it wouldn't give it lower than 5.
