Interesting theory bs... so maybe the button is away of keeping them in one place and on the island, so the others can have the island to themselves, not be bothered too much, but not worry about people leaving!

yeh, spose, well just what Hurley wass saying that there was enough food to last a person however many months he said, so i'm assuming he was getting replenished.  Maybe the blast doors on the ceiling are where they come in from?

the blast doors in the cieling don't lead anywhere yuzi, they just come down to block the coridor in case of an explosion?
But good point, considering the store room looked pretty packed full, and I think he said 3 months, unless there are other store rooms not shown to us...
I mean I think Desmond would've mentioned if someone had shown up and given him a bunch of food. At least he would've known that there were others (nice heads up to him btw from the losties... Ok I trailed off my point, there didn't look like enough food could've been stored to last 3 years, but he would've said something if someone had replenished the store room and not replaced him, given him answers etc).

'Mr Friendly' is a name that's stuck as well.

I got the impression that he may have been Gerald Degroot, but I think the writers shut that theory down.

bs totally, like i said in one of my many, many rants on here, i'd actually completely forgotten about the character of ana lucia in that last episode until she showed up at the end since they hadn't seemed to involve any tailies in that last episode. I wonder if they're keeping her out the picture cos people still weren't liking her?
